Hi, I just joined, and thought I would wave to all lovers of dark hair. Every hair color is beautiful to me, but brunette is special to me. I'm Cherokee on my dad's side, and my hair and eyes really show it. I love having long hair, even if it's a real pain to take care of.

Also on My Dad's side, and can't say enough about the great "skin genes",,,My Mom's side is Scotch, Irish, English, they tend to "whither/crepe" up early,, still have great facial skin tone even at My Age!! YEA!!!
The Cherokee Cheek bone structure too!! And, shamelessly, great long legs!!

Wed, April 26, 2006 - 10:11 AMYeah, I am very thankful for the dna I got. People are usually surprised when I tell them I'm 36, and my hair is so thick that I have to have it thinned. (actaully that last one's kind of a pain, but it beats thinning hair!)

I am not blessed with thick hair, my texture is baby fine, like spider web silk, but, as my hairdresser says I have lots of it!

BUT, not to worry, my hairdresser talls me that we "shed" about 400 hairs every day, a renewal is in place too!!
