Yeap sure have, i'm off to Naples, Italy on the 31st for 3 days, and then transferring to Sorrento for a futher 5.
I'm going with the Basingstoke Archaeology, and Historical Society so we will be getting to see behind the scenes at places like Pompeii, and Herculaneum, that the average tourist doesn't get to see.
What i really want to know though is where the best night life is, i'll probably be going on my own as the rest of my group average at 55, so i cant see them wanting to come with me lol
Any suggestions? -

Tue, January 22, 2008 - 5:04 AMIf you'll be staying in a hotel while you're there, your best luck would be too hook up with the bagboys who handle the luggage. They'll certainly know where you ought to go to find the fun you need. -

Thu, January 24, 2008 - 1:09 PMI'm staying in a hostel in naples, though it has great reviews for fun, so i'm sure i'll probably get some good advice there.
Belive it or not, i'm booked into a nunnery/or monastry in Sorrento....not a deliberate thing i can assure you pmsl.
I saw the rooms, and the view from the bay of naples, and assumed it was a beautifull historical building that was converted, i just though what a touch to be lodge somewhere so clean and beautifull so booked it, but from what i have now gathered its still a working building...oh well there are always the beautifull orange, and lemon groves if i'm that caught out ;D
My mother always said when it comes to those places...lights out at 10, candles out at 11
