further... there is no such thing as too long... especially not if it is down to your ass....
what the client is revealing is the repression that is so threatening to people like that -
they are threatened by the freedom and magic
or UNCUT - UNCENSORED - UNBRIDLED - UNRESTRICTED - LIFE / HAIR.

And it is powerful and is fine for work...those that can't deal are once again threatened
by the power of real life as opposed to their prescribed and limited world view.

I wish mine was longer - when it's wet and straight it is almost down to my ass - it's curly so it shrinks up. I love long hair. On guys and girls.

Tell the client to mind his own business - if you like your hair long than my all means keep it long.

A good thing I don't have to worry about keep long hair; thye clipper does just fine for me.

your client was a jerk. How long you keep your hair is your business, not his. You should keep it as long as it feels comfortable for you. If your long hair makes you and your fiance happy, screw what others think. that's only my opinion of course, lol.

Too bad it was a client because you could tell them to kiss your ass. It is your hair, you get to wear it the way you prefer.

I have never had complaints about the length of my hair. I prefer to keep it long, it will sometimes get caught when I fasten my pants. But it is worth the trouble. Long hair is a guy magnet. I have learned how to twist it up, pin it up, and tuck it up when I scuba dive, motorcycle ride, wear winter hats in the wind. Even though I keep it trimmed to msintain the health of my hair, about every 5 years, I get a raical trim. But like you said, few notice up to 6" difference, as it growes back so fast. I love my long hair and so do my men. Let it grow as long as is comfortable and managable for you

The only way your hair can be too long for YOU, is if YOU think it is too long. Or too short, or too frizzy, or too straight, or too wildly colored, etc. It's your hair. And your client has no business mentioning your ass in any context. Sounds like he might have some issues of his own.

And, I think you should keep your hair as long (or short) as *YOU* want it! Not anyone else- just *you*.

I love long hair. I have longish hair (am letting it grow out again...cut it when depressed) and my partner has long hair (longer than mine and it is oh-so-gorgeous on him!). I often tell him I can't wait to have pretty hair like him.

My partner gets comments and looks, being a guy apparently you "can't" have long hair, but he's gotten some positive ones from women who ask him what he does to keep his hair so nice!

The length of your hair is none of his concern.

He is the one with the problem not you, as long as you like your hair, it doesnt matter.
